| Up On The Roof -- For my son in law. |
This one is cute, my son in law was a roofer. So I made a house cake with a guy shingling the roof.
Only he had a little problem, which you can see in the picture below.
To make you need the following.
1) 9 x 13 sheet cake pan.
2) A standard loaf pan.
3) 1- plastic toy figure of a man.(construction worker if you can find).
4) 4- Sugar wafers cookies ( choc)
5) tooth picks or match sticks with out the heads.
Start with the sheet cake as the base, and ice with green for grass. Center loaf cake on top cover sides
with white icing, and top with black or brown for tar paper. Use ribbon decorator tip to make shingles.
Poke figure of man down in to top of cake, So it looks like he fell through the roof. Write HELP! HELP!
On roof by figure.
The Sugar wafer cookies and tooth picks, make the scaffolding in front of the house. Decorate with door
and windows, and Happy Birthday to --- . Thats it have fun.
